I don't use lipglosses even daily: I survive with lip balm. Usually I use Labello's Classic lip balm but in winter I also use Bepanthen to keep my lips from peeling. Bepanthen (Bepanthene abroad) is a lotion that you can use for pretty much anything, there are two different types of it: blue is not so thick as red and can be used for larger areas. Red is mainly for targeted areas like lips, burns, rash etc. Only problem with it is the tube it comes in; can't really keep it in your bag since it breaks easily and then you get the lotion all over the bag. So that's why I use normal lip balm when I'm out and Bepanthen when I'm home.
Anyway, back to the lipglosses. I mainly use only two lipglosses and the most used is...
Gosh Light'n Shine Lip Glaze - 03 Soft Rosa
I love the little mirror it has on the side and the lights. Makes it so much easier to put it on without an extra mirror. Also the brush is great.
Lumene Natural Code Smile Booster Lip Gloss - Icy Melon
This is a bit more peachy than the Gosh lipgloss and doesn't shine so much. It only adds a bit of sparkle which for me is enough for workdays. Doefoot applicator is nice enough: bit curved so it suits the lips' roundness better than straight one.
Then to the other ones that I use rarely but when I don't have hard enough make up on my eyes then I prefer more colour on my lips.
Lancôme Juicy Tubes - Prune
This is really old tube. I got it from a friend of mine as a Christmas gifts some years ago. It still does its work even tho the colour has never been too deep. It is quite shiny and only lightly prune-coloured even tho on tube it looks really dark.
Rich Lipgloss by H&M - Mood For Love
This is quite light red and tends to wear out quite fast. It's still nice enough for not too dramatic lip colour and sometimes I wear it on top of a red lipstick which gives the lipstick nice gloss.
Wet n Wild Diamond Brilliance (dark red)
This one is way darker than the H&M one. I don't like the doefoot applicator since it tends to mess up the lipgloss over the lip lines. It's quite hard to make the colour even and usually I need a paper and good light when putting this on to get it right. Nice rich colour!
So now I just keep on waiting until I get my Alexander McQueen lipglass and hope it is my new hit lipgloss.
