Alexander McQueen Resort 2011

Ok, honestly, I felt a bit weird after they kept Alexander McQueen house going but then again, not like some of the other bigger houses have the founder still running them - like Christian Dior. It would be such a waste for them to lose the name.

I wasn't much aware of Sarah Burton before she became the designer for the label or her career. I knew she worked with Lee but that was about it.

Luckily for me - and those who like the typical McQueen style - she hasn't done too dramatic changes to McQueen clothes. The collection is more bright than Lee's but they still have the silhouette he used - maybe not with so low waist tho.

The tailoring is great in clothes and I like that some of the pieces look like old McQueen.

I'm really interested to see how Sarah develops the label.
