My UK haul!

So yeah, I managed to buy quite a bit of random things. I'm not posting about clothes since I didn't buy that much for me or for my daughter so you get make up and accessories only.

This is just a quick post to let you know what I bought and if you want review or more info on something then just write that in your comment and I will try to do a more specific post about it - I might do reviews of some of the products anyway later on.

So yeah, let's start. My first buy when I got to UK was a mascara. Since yeah, stupid me had forgotten my mascara to my home. Who does that?! Who goes on holiday and puts mascara on before leaving and then does not pack it? I don't carry mascara with me on my handbag so didn't have any with me.

And since I'm a victim to advertising I wanted to try the new Rimmel's Lash Accelerator mascara. Doubt it will work but now I have it. I usually use waterproof but they never have waterproof versions instantly on sale.

Next I did some Primark shopping. I have to love how cheap the place is. I managed to get a cardigan, a dress (not a real nice dress, just some tunic-style for work), a t-shirt and a dress for my daughter, accessories, lipgloss and one pair of shoes with only around £30. After that every other shop seemed expensive tho.

So yeah, bought some pearly accessories and some grey denim bracelet.

Also found an orange lipgloss with £1. When I opened it I was quite stunned since it is a replica of Gosh's Light'n Shine lipglosses (the bottle that is). It has a mirror on a side and light when you open it. Sorry for bad pics but my crappier phone didn't like trying to focus on right thing but I think you get the idea.

I went to John Lewis which I normally don't bother doing much and I found last package of OPI's Couture Colour mini nail polishes. I just had to buy it. It can only be bought from John Lewis stores so I didn't even know it exists. The set costs £12.15. The colours look great and again sorry about bad pic but I will do NOTDs with these soon and will try to get better picture of packaging.

The set contains:

  • Obscurity - A matte black that’s never dull
  • Sanguine - Deep, dark blood red-maroon
  • Unripened - A glittering green so dark it’s dangerous
  • Nevermore -You’ll be c-raven this blackened purple
And this is Sanguine in action (and yes, I did some bad job with putting the nail polish on but try to overlook it).

I was quite lost in Boots this trip. There were stuff I really wanted - like UD's The Black Palette - but didn't want to blow my money on that expensive items. So I just bought some random ones.

I've wanted to get a dry shampoo for a while and Batiste ones have been told to be good (and they cost almost nothing). Also I got my scrub which I love! And then I wanted a new waterproof mascara so thought of trying Maybelline's Lash Stiletto Voluptuous. I can always go back to my yellow tube if I'm not satisfied.

And when we visited London - all of the above shoppings have been made in Cambridge - I wanted to peek in on Claire's. And I found the cutest little necklace - skulls and poison? what's not to love?! - and Re-Vamped make up set looked interesting. Not waiting much from the colours but will try them on soon.

I also had to spend my last £££ at Heathrow so I went for something I've wanted and needed. So I bought MAC's paint pot in Painterly - my first real MAC buy since the lipgloss I bought for being Alexander McQueen edition - and Clinique's Take the day off (I'm running out of it soon so needed a new bottle).

And before going to UK I did some small shopping in Finland in pharmacy. I came out with Vichy Normaderm cleansing gel and ACO hand lotion. I will do review about Normaderm after I've used it for more than one week.

Anyway, that was my shoppings. Hope you enjoyed!
