LOTD ~ Jingle Jangle (and a Sunday haul)

I was out of my own ideas today so I browsed through some face charts and other bloggers' pictures and came across with MAC face chart Jingle Jangle from Magic, Mirth & Mischief! collection.

This is the face chart.

I don't even own any MAC eyeshadows but otherwise my re-creation looked like this.

My version was done with mainly UD AIW palette - Absolem and Mad Hatter with Zero liner plus some light blue/green from 96 palette.

I did pink cheeks with my eyeshadow/blush palette but I left my lips nude since I didn't find my lipliner that would've suited the picture. Green is lighter that the one in face chart but I didn't want to use darker, I could've mixed few greens to get this but I kinda like my more neutral version.

And with this look I went to do some shopping. I wanted a blending brush for eyeshadow and I've been hunting for one for a while now. I have even thought about buying MAC 217 but wanted to see if I could find some other one first to even learn to use one. No7 apparently have quite similar blending brush but can't get them in Finland but might order from Boots. Duroy one was too flat but then I found Raili Hulkkonen blending brush - she's a Finnish make up artist and has recently made her own brushes. I haven't tried the brush yet but it's round blending brush and cost 13€.

I also bought 2 Depend nail polishes - purple and pale pink (they were 3 for 2 and my sister wanted black so I said I can buy two others). I found some IsaDora Graffiti nail polishes but there wasn't either black or white left so I went for yellow (other colours were baby pink, blue and green).

Last I got oil treatment for hair and scalp. I have the normal version of this too but this time I bought the buckthorn one which is said to be better. I've had it before too but I think last time when I wanted it the shop didn't have any so I bought the normal version. Anyway, have it now and need to use it for my bleached and strawy hair.

I also bought Rimmel professional eyebrow pencil in 002 Hazel. They didn't have the lightest version but I might use this one with darker make up. Need to try actually how dark it is for my blonde eyebrows and hair first. I like the fact that it comes with brush attached even if I have separate brush too but this seems sturdy enough for shaping eyebrows and blending colour if needed.
