LOTD ~ Emerald Arab

I wanted to do green look today so thought I could dig up my Gosh Effect Powder in Emerald plus try some more arabic eyeliner. This isn't really as arabic as it could be since I can't keep eyeliner in the inner corner of my eye, it gets messy in seconds.

Eyes:
Gosh waterproof eyeshadow in Love That Champagne (applied to lid)
Oriflame eyeshadow pen in black (applied to outer corner)
Gosh Effect Powder in Emerald (all over the lid on top of two above ones)
Some light greens from 96 palette to blend Emerald out
Black eyeliner (Gosh and Rimmel)

On lips I have Victoria's Secret lip gloss in Bananas!

I didn't want to go over the top and add false eyelashes or anything that would look great with this look since I'm just going out to get my daughter home from her grandmum.

And some music to you. I was reading Robert A. Heinlein's Farmer In The Sky yesterday and the part where they are moving from Earth to Ganymedes reminded me of a Marilyn Manson song The Last Day On Earth.

Champagne with Christina

Two looks for you today. The first one is my LOTD. I wanted to try the Gosh eyeshadow I bought yesterday since it's been raining outside and it was waterproof. Used Meow's Traci L on top of that.

And MUG's competition this week is for Christina Aguilera looks. I wanted to try one of her looks to see how it turns out and it didn't turn out as good as I wanted so not going to compete with that. Might re-do it later on. Anyway here are the pics of my first try of the look.

Blue and more blue (LOTD & NOTD)

My today's look was simple but I wanted to try blue since I haven't used it for a while.

Eyes:
Evil Shades' Banshee (lid) and Double Barrel (outer V)
Meow's GMTA (crease) and Skinny Bitch (browbone)

My nails have been blue for past few days too.

Also I decided I need to dye my hair since they've pretty much turned to blonde instead of red. Didn't find the dye I usually use so had to use bit darker copper.

And I also shopped few Gosh products today. Golden Dragon nail polish (it's gorgeous!) and waterproof eyeshadow in Love That Champagne (mainly intended to use it under lighter powder eyeshadows as a base to get some of them to stick better).

LOTD ~ Psycho Purple

I decided to try the technique I used for Flipside with different colour so I thought of using purple which (along green and black) is one of my used colours.

Eyes:
Oriflame eye pencil in black (as a base to moving lid and outer corner of the lower lashline)
UD Queen (on top of the black base)
Evil Shades' Cheshire (crease)
Hi-Fi's Psycho Mind (in the middle of the lid)
Evil Shades' Suffocation (blending out)

Lips:
Hi-Fi's Spotlight Lip Glaze in Immoral

As a blush I used some pink from my eyeshadow/blush palette

And I also followed Jangsara's footsteps and bought an organiser for my make up. Should've bought one with bigger boxes since I don't have enough small eyeshadows but could fit all my make up into one. Also bought a set of boxes for my eyeshadow sample bags.

Past faces.

I finally got some of the past make up pics out of my camera so you get few looks in one.

Starting with the Flipside one I posted the test pics of. This is the actual look I did for work and traveling to my parents.

I really liked that look on me and I really should try to keep the fringe in front, looks better than swept onto one side.

This next one is probably UD brownish look. No recall of what I used for it but looks like something I often do for summer or when I want an easy make up.

And then my first look with Stargazer eyeshadows. They're quite bad to work with, I need to try different kind of ways to get more colour pay-off. If you have any tips then I welcome them. Apparently normal on top of an eyeshadow base doesn't really work. Any brush tips or anything would be nice. I like the neon colours tho so would be nice to use them every now and then but don't really feel like if I have to put one colour 6 times on to get it to show.

And finally today's look. This is made with UD's Mildew, green from Gosh's quattro eyeshadow palette and golden yellow from Isadora's quattro eyeshadow palette. Pic is taken after a work day and I still have flu so my face isn't as fresh as it was in the morning when I applied it.

A small update and I will try to get back to my normal routine from now on.

Been MIA.

Sorry all, been really MIA for over a week now. I just have had some stuff going on, nothing huge or even too interesting but enough for not having energy to write any posts here. I finally finished the studies I had (work paid for it), then my daughter has been ill, I was in Pärnu, Estonia for the weekend with co-workers and now I have cold (which I probably catched from my daughter).

I will be back in action as soon as possible. Hopefully tomorrow but won't promise anything.

Ronnie James Dio dead.

Just read from Blabbermouth.net that Ronnie James Dio has passed away this morning.

LOTD ~ Flipside over black

This wasn't really my lotd but it might be one for tomorrow. Just wanted to try Flipside as eyeshadow since I might rush the make up in tomorrow morning and didn't want to experiment then.

This is donw with no eyeshadow base, no other make up than just eyeshadows, liners and mascara for the eye. Also everything else is UD except the black eyeshadow pen under Flipside on main lid and mascara.

And a lot of pics with and without flash. Unfortunately no natural light so the ones without flash are red/yellow.

My recent lipstick buys - and few other products.

I've recently wanted to buy more lipsticks. Didn't use them for years since I didn't find any that wouldn't have dried out my lips. But all the ones I recently bought feel good and don't dry my lips.
