LOTD ~ Aztec Queen

I wanted to use some glitter I got from Hi-Fi Cosmetics earlier this month (will show pics of the haul and swatches soon, promise). I got two different glitters - silver and gold - and since it's summer I wanted to use the golden one.

I named the look Aztec Queen since I used chocolate brown and gold in a look and well, Aztecs were known for both.

And yes, I'm going to do some grocery shopping with this look.

Eyes:
UDPP/MAC Paint Pot in Painterly/Pixie Epoxy (under glitter)
Hi-Fi Cosmetics Paparazzi Flash Powder in Rich Man's War (patted over Pixie Epoxy)
Urban Decay Perversion e/s
Gosh Trio Eyeshadow palette in Smoky (used brown to blend out the black)
Wet'n'Wild Vanity palette (used yellowish shimmery one for highlight the browbone and inner corner of the eye)
Rimmel Glam'Eyes liquid eyeliner in black
Maybelline Falsies Volum' Express in black (waterproof)

Face:
Oriflame Beauty Primer
Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra foundation in 010
Inglot Multicolour Bronzer
Evil Shades Cosmetics blush in Ravishing

Lips:
Alexander McQueen for MAC - Nothingless

I have two days left of holiday before I go back to work. Luckily one week holiday left for autumn so I get a little break when it starts to get dark and wintery.

  1. I love it! The crease being brought all the way in toward your nose is really cool and that glitter.... BOOM.

  2. Thank you :) I really like that glitter since it's fine-grained it doesn't sting and sticks really well to the lid.

  4. Thank you :) I love the necklace and wish I could use it more but it's really heavy especially to wear in summer.
